In conjunction with Temora Shire Council, Maker undertook the stormwater management strategy for a 42-hectare existing catchment located in the northeastern extents of Temora. The analysis covered 25 hectares of existing residential and industrial areas that did not have an underground network. Maker’s scope of works included the detailed design for the stormwater management of these areas, as well as mitigation options and strategies for future developments. The project also involved a comprehensive investigation of feasible solutions to eliminate frequent flash flooding of arterial road connections.

The Temora Stormwater Upgrades aim to address critical drainage issues and improve the resilience of the existing infrastructure. By designing effective stormwater management solutions and planning for future growth, the project will enhance the safety and functionality of the local area, reducing the risk of flooding and supporting sustainable development in Temora.
